I find it hard to believe anyone actually enjoys bike repair.
Well, maybe if your bike isn't half made of parts that have rusted in place it's not so bad.
AND IF YOU HAVE PROPER TOOLS
NOT HAVING THE RIGHT TOOL FOR THE JOB REALLY PISSES ME OFF

Well, I thought I was hanging out with my friend tonight (which I've been looking forward to all week), but he forgot and went out with his girlfriend.
Also, I finally got my new plugs and I can't get the double flare through my ear. :grumpy:

I'm trying to send an email to two ex-teachers of mine from high school, just to talk, and I have no fucking idea what to say. I'd honestly like to just be friends, because they were amazing teachers, and really big inspirations to me since I graduated.

I'm actually really nervous about it, to be honest. I feel like I haven't done much with my life yet, and I'm afraid of being a disappointment. I always planned on getting ahold of them after I'd finished my degree (like "Hey, remember me? I finally got my life in order and now I'm a teacher, too! You were a huge inspiration to me after I stopped screwing around and took control of my life!"), but my sister ran into one of them and he told me to email him.

I feel like such a spaz over this.

Something weird is going on with my thought process. Like, my automatic reaction to everything lately has been missing my ex and being sad, but today I've had more "I can't keep missing her/let it go" kinds of thought process going. But at the same time I feel like I'm still missing or lacking something specific, but I don't know what it is. Maybe it's just close companionship in general. I don't know. Shit is confusing as hell.

Honestly - you're just in the "missing of missing her." I know that when I started to feel normal again (as is inevitable) after she left I felt so betrayed by myself. "HOW COULD YOU GIVE UP ON US!" I wasn't ready to let go and it felt like such a slap in the face to all the reasons that I had been living. At this point, years later, I still miss her. That being said I don't dream of her coming back (though I still dream of her now and again), and I don't even think I would want it if she were to magically appear on my door. In some ways I am paying homage to all the incalculable ways she changed me, and just still having my smallest toe still caught in the "missing of missing her."

Hey, think of it like this: it's the perfect opportunity to write a shoegaze song.

This is something. It's striking to me. I'm gonna have to play off this idea for a bit.
& thank you for being open/responding to all my shit. It has been helpful :)

 sometimes I'm glad I'm not much of a writer so I don't come up with a bunch of songs like that; I just let my music sound sad so I don't have to say anything.

My Dog discovered a nest of baby bunnies this morning. When I looked out to check on her, I saw she was poling in a patch of thick grass. When I went out, I saw a little baby rabbit scatter and then I heard the screaming. She mauled one (probably just stepped on it) and ran off with one in her mouth. She ate most of the one she got, but the one she stepped on was on bad shape, so I had to dispatch it. I usually not a baby killer. Seriously though, killing a helpless creature is not an easy thing for me, but it seemed more humane. Two of them are still alive, but I'm not sure of the momma is coming back to tend to them.

Now the dog is reminding me of the event through her outrageously bad gas.
A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, God said, "Let there be Lips!" And there were, and they were good, and the lips said...
