Sounded like a blast! A lil bit of weird stuff (but that's to be expected when strippers and alchohol are involved ) but all in all sounds like a blast... How do you feel about the whole thing do you think you accomplished what you set out to do?
"abandon all hope ye who crush that button..."
Jrmy: Exactly - "the fuzz is strong with that one."
Are you trying to get a band going, or are you trying to do some other creative work? Or maybe a mix?
Sounds like an awesome night. It reminds of that time that I met Bill Steer (who was basically one of the inventors of grindcore) in my hometown and spent the evening drinking with him. Good times.
You just need a passive bass, a tube amp, and a metric ton of marijuana and Sabbath worship.
I'm not a chatty internet guy, it's just never been my way. I've tired on various occasions, but I usually just wear out. We've chatted a bit over time and have always appreciated your fire. I follow a couple of dozen people on twitter, mostly for industry stuff and a few friends, but find myself drawn to your writing and struggles. I love your candid expression and root for you every time I see torment, concern, waffling, or second guessing. Best of luck as always... be the strong person you are.
Pete convinced to go ahead and post it, though I still feel weird about it.
HTsamurai didn't even read it (it was too long)... so yeah... it's fucking long... deal with it.
Anyhow... feel free to comment here on it since tumblr doesn't have comments for some reason.

Oh it wasn't that long. I lived in Austin in 2000-2002 and I hated the goth scene there too many clicks. I guess I wasnt "cool" enough. The "realest" people I met there were all "rock stars" (Meg Lee chin, Martin Atkins(pigface) Uncle AL(ministry),Ogre,Cevin Key(Skinny Puppy)). It was strange that the most down to earth people were the ones I expected to be "too good for you" types. Ok now im Rambling. Good blog Devi your a natural story teller.
