The best music I have ever release so far.

Post by mrmtzion »

I have a new drone bandcamp ep for free download. I think it's my best yet. Let me know what you guys think. Also, I am looking for someone to put out some of my music. If you know of anyone that has a label and might be interested, please let me know. Thanks everyone!

Very nice, mrmtzion. I'm listening now.

"in the blue ridge" kinda reminds me of a cross between Mazzy Star, Eno and Japanese psych band Ghost.

Pretty good for improvs. They're a little too static for me, I would've preferred a bit more movement. (I know that's a difficult thing to accomplish when it comes to improv.)

I guess which direction I would recommend you go in depends on what you want out of these pieces. They sound great though.

Thanks man. I like eno's work,so that was a big compliment. The next release will be improv as well but with more loops. I am just going in the direction that drone takes me. Lichens and daniel higgs are big influences, but I'm not trying to copy them by any means. I am just following the cosmic vibrations that my fingers lead me to.

All that would play was Chamber of Light but I really dig it... Big ups for live one tracking... The levels seem good and you got a lot going on... Word...

Good thing you're not trying to copy Higgs. That might be mighty difficult.
