Books:
Check out On My Way to Paradise, The Golden Queen, Beyond the Gate and Lords of the Seventh Swarm by Dave wolverton. Worms, Ender's Game, The Mayflower Trilogy and many other by by Orson Scott Card. Here Abide Monsters, Merlin’s Mirror by Andre Norton, those are just my favorite books by her, check out some of her other stuff too, she a giant in the SIFI world. Hyperion, The Fall of Hyperion, Endymion The Rise of Endymion by Dan Simmons. A lot of books things written by Marion zimmer bradley, I read over twenty of here books so you could say I am a fan.
Oh and The Iron Dragon's Daughter by Michael Swanwick, great book!

I liked Karas more so for it's art style. While the story about demons did pull me in, it was kinda..flat. Not much was going on with it, which was disappointing. Another thing I remember is Casshern, but..I couldn't stand watching it past the beginning. Too much god damned orange, but I have a friend who loved it.

It might have been a mistake though. It's like a gateway drug to his longer books. Now I'm hooked on everything Stephenson and am working my way through the 3,000-page Baroque Cycle.
