No your wrong jwar... it's that 'merican/mexican fenders fucking blow so much that squires actually play and sound pretty good in comparison :p

I agree with the Mexican part, but the American ones sound 10 times better and just are all around better constructed. Oh course that's just my opinion. I had an MIM P bass for awhile and it was a POS. I played an American made one and it played like a dream.

Of course I'd rather have a Ric like you but I'm a Musicman fanboi. lol

 :thumb:
I don't know though... last few MIA fenders I played I didn't like at all... the only new fender I have played in a long long time that was on what I call a real player level was a CIJ mustang bass and that was a while ago... not saying I hate MIA fenders... I have a 74 P bass which is godly... but you can't really count that

When I bought my Squier VM Jag bass this spring, I A/B/C/D'd it against an MIM Fender Jazz, an MIA Fender Jazz, and a Fender MP Jag (closest similar basses that GC had on hand). The Squier's tone blew the others to hell. I agree that the Fender neck was a tinge faster, and the MIA hardware was nice, but for tone, the Squier slaughtered them all.

There really are good apples and bad apples in all the fender/squire varieties. Always play before you pay when you get the chance!

I really want a headless guitar. I don't know why. The kramer ones have aluminum necks though, and they aren't super expensive either.

How long would you guys wait on an item before saying fuck it? I sent a dude a PM on Harmony Central to buy his Timefactor and he hasn't been online for 24 hours. Not that long, but I want to move it like now! Two other people have them for sale but his was the best deal and come with an extra footswitch to control that shit. So...I guess I am GASING now and getting annoyed that he won't check his fucking PM's. When I sell shit, I check it constantly!

Didn't you have a Pitchfactor at one point a few months ago? Isn't it funny how some pedals come full circle?
