i... um... had a good ass pradtice, got to hang out with a friend then got a nice 2 hour nap in (i sleep like 3 hours a night so that is BLISSFUL) and i'm off to dinner with another friend then to catch 3 Boobs Of Total Recall later with my brother and another friend. i'm actually having a good ass day.

early next month i'm going to Tokyo for a week and a half to have The Talk with my grrL about what we're going to do with us though. THAT shit is looming and always adding a pall to even the fun times.

I just feel genuinely terrible. I'm stressed. I'm completely, overwhelmingly, stressed.

I'm tired as fuck all the time, but I can't sleep, because I'm so constantly worked up. I can't even distract myself for very long, either.

I feel kind of lost. I just don't know how to communicate anymore.

I feel you on that one. I lived in my old house for ten months while my ex and I were in the process of separating and divorcing, until I had to move out so she could move back in. I put off packing for so long, because I was dreading it so badly, that it was absolute hell once I got started. Having to go through all your accumulated stuff, with all the memories that dredges up, and deciding what to pack up and what to pitch, with the realization that there's a ton of unpacking work somewhere down the road...well, it's fuckin' tough.

The upside: starting over in a new place is really liberating. It helps you get out from under a lot of bad old memories. In retrospect, I don't think I really started the process of healing from my divorce at all until after I went through all that packing and moving hell and got to the other side. Definitely a turning point for me. So hang in there, there's light at the end of the tunnel.

going back to old patterns. bad. I'M GONNA SNAP OUT OF IT ASLJHGKJPDSOGKHROSILGJV

also, seems that my enthusiasm about such a huge variety of topics and the information I've gathered about the same kinda kills any desire for anyone to talk to me like a regular human being. I'm in that place where I don't know if it's me or them again. and I know I've been posting like a maniac lately, sry about that, just missing human interaction, that is all. I'll stop now.

I'll stick to my bass and shut down the internet for a while. meh

I can't stop buying records, I got no money left, and a store near me got in a slew of Pink Floyd Records yesterday. I don't really want to let go of any gear to buy records, but at the same time, I do have a number of pedals not being used right now. The struggle between wanting more and being happy with what you have is tough. Especially when you (as in me) have over 60 albums to listen to, it's almost stupid to buy more. The other day my Mom asked me if I actually listen to all the things I buy. Which I do!

Also my dad is having surgery tomorrow, nothing serious, but he's going to be "out of commission" for a few days.

Damn. I need to repair the disk on my laptop (or something like that) which means I need the OSX install disk which I may or may not have and what more importantly probably won't be read by the CD drive that doesn't seem to work anymore.
