Can someone BUILD this circuit for me?
It's a homemade fuzz pedal (builder unknown), but it sounds almost like an overdrive. Sounds kind of like cardboard... sounds like it boosts the treble a little and lower mid.

Let's see, 2 trannies, 7 caps and 7 resistors. Too many parts for a fuzz face. Not enough trannies to be a super fuzz, octavia, muff or tone bender.
Shin Ei Companion. Same number of parts. Raspy and trebly, check. That's my guess.

Yeah fuzz factory has a couple more parts than a standard fuzz face, that's true. But they have 5 knobs, and I didn't think there was enough wiring there for more than 2 knobs.

i used to have a fuzz factory and this is definitely not a fuzz factory. and this pedal has two knobs, yeah. gonna check out the shin ei.

the thing is it really hardly sounds like a fuzz at all. i should call it an overdrive

Post a picture of the track side of the pcb. If no-one here can recognise what it is I can post the pics at Freestompboxes and they'll work out what it is in a split second.
