Totally unrelated: My drummer and I just started practicing as a duo thing, and my father in law was awesome enough to give us a room in his house to play. So he texted me and asked how it went, and to let me know that if the other members of the band ever showed up, we have more room if we want it. When I told him it was just a duo he responded "well, I guess it worked for the White Stripes". Made me laugh.

Dude, I hit the jackpot with my father in law. He has told us that no matter the hour, we're always welcome to come over and jam. Only condition is that he gets to chill with us if he's home. He's actually a killer guitarist who just never sat down to make it a real hobby, and he wants me to go and "live the dream".

Well, our EP is taking a bit to get mastered, we had to go back to the studio and sort of unmaster what the engineer had done.
So, anyways, the little label is going to get ready to start a buzz, doing some promotional stuff. IDK what all that is going to entail. An interview for a Blog, linking our stuff to their websites, etc. Hell yeah, they are going to get a buzz going so we can sell 5 copies of the EP the day it is released! LOl...IDK. They actually have a decent amount of webtraffic on their sites. It is weird, they like 20 MetalCore bands, one rapper, a christian band, a punk band or two and us. I wonder what genre they are going to say we are. I told an out of town venue that we were MelodicGarageRock, maybe?
