You're welcome.

I think "Slack Motherfucker" is the best Superchunk song.

Oh yeah man, "Punch Me Harder" is great. They're one of the few bands out there who has never put out a bad record, although the early 90s to mid 90s stuff is the best definitely. This is my favorite song of theirs:

I'm from Detroit and they came a couple of years back and they played this. Everyone was going absolutely insane. They put on a really fun show.

I've always wanted to play one of those Guilds. Opinions seem to be mixed on them.

I'm saying this with the understanding that I haven't done a ton of research and what I have done is TB related. And... A while ago. But I remember reading people saying they were heavy and didn't sound that good, while others really liked them. I would also assume that if they were great, they'd still be in production, but by doing so it could just make me an ass.

Well, they were originally made when Guild was its own company, back in the Seventies, before they pretty much ceased production and Fender bought 'em. They also don't feel or sound like the typical industry standard Fender or Gibson bass. I don't think they're especially heavy for bass guitars. Wouldn't be my first choice of a bass and I don't really think it'd be Laura Ballance's either, from what I remember she usually plays Precisions. I think Superchunk just wanted cool looking instruments for that video. They're not bad basses, they just don't have mass appeal.

Make me think a bit of this Gretsch guitar (TK-300):

Probably same year of production or something.
