So I was restringing my Warwick with Ernie Ball Cobalts. Decided to get rid of the flats because...well...I hate flats. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Flats sound like dead dog poo. ANYWAY. I was restringing and apparently I'm tired or just dumb because I broke my g-string. heh. G string. I cannot believe it! I have not broke a fucking string since I was like 16!!!!! I'm 30 now, so you can see why I'm upset! Those fucking, son of a bitch strings are like 5 bucks each!!! GOD! I was soooooooo fucking pissed off! I have NO idea how I did it! Luckily I had an old, used g string. Just threw that one, but still seriously annoyed and angered.

The rare times I've broken a string have always come from the string being weakened somehow - bent the wrong way, started to unwind at the string post, etc...

I dunno. I was so mad I just threw it aside. It could have been a defective string too I suppose. Just soooo fucking annoying. I wish strings weren't so expensive.

Also, the Warwick with rounds on it sounds beastly.

hurm. have a smaller tat i wanted to get done, was s'posed to go with my friend to a grrL she likes in a week and a few days. she LOVES the guy that has done a bunch on her (good work), but i'm more comfy with a layday doing art on me and want to get this easy thing done so i can check someone out and talk to them about the two more complex things i want and the mods i want done to the thing on my back.... there's a place near us run by all laydays that are s'posed to be good....

would you go to the guy that has a solid rep and you've seen a lot of his work or try out someone you don't know anybody that's been inked up there but it's all womens and you'd prefer a grrL?

...... typing that out kinda made me lean one way hard, but thoughts? murrrrr?

I think that in the long run you it's better to get the permanent ink done by someone great. You won't remember an awkward experience if that's how it goes down.
