No it's an original design. The filter is more than just a tone control, it affects the texture too. all the way left you get all the top end bite and sizzle without the it getting brighter, and all the way right it smooths out to a huge low end rumble. I hope that makes sense.

The knob on the right side is a blend.

Just playing with the filter, blend and switch gives a huge array of sounds.

This is one of those pedals that actually lives up to it's reputation.

Yup it's a D*A*M, 2006 version.
And no he doesn't make them any more.
