Sometimes I never understand ILF...
It just mean we're all different people. There's no real answer.

Cool, I wasn't callin anyone out and I don't mean just this thread... We've been talking about the El Cap for over a year now... It's a TAPE DELAY if you like tape delay and think it sounds good then get it... If you want something else it's there... I have hardly even turned mine off since I got it and don't see what all the fuss is about... No one ever mentions the Brigadier when we talk about what's wrong with the El Cap, it seems people just want this one pedal to be the end all and be all for delay and I don't think we should expect any piece of gear to do that...

Yeah, I was gonna say....
that statement obviously is pure opinion, it probably deserves a thread to itself for discussion.

^ Yeah! and I'm sure we all have different opinion on this.
My personal opinion... for a pedal that cost a lot is that if that's the thing for you, it worth it's price.
We shouldn't debate on this... it's the kind of debate that would never end... and we're probably all right anyway (different people = different opinion).

Welcome to a public forum, where people have opinions.
But yea, I typically EQ my amp with a low-mid focus and things tend to get muddy if I'm not careful. I also, just didn't like the "wash" it had. DMM otoh.

I didn't like it. But I don't like tape delay at all...
This was further proven by the fact that I like most other patches on a Timeline.

How about that it's ridiculously expensive?
I have a TC electronic alter ego that has like 8 delays, a looper, and a tap tempo thingy and it was only like $150 and it sounds good. I just wonder how bad the diminishing returns are on spending all that money on pedals with that much hype...
