Tempo Brand Amps

Post by zRobertez »

The guy who is currently recording my band has this 30+ year old amp that he's selling for $25. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go for it. It's about a foot or two tall, has volume, tone, tremolo, and reverb knobs and the tremolo and reverb don't work at all though I feel like I'm getting pretty handy so I'll try to fix it. It's dirty and scratchy sounding and ugly and I think I love it. I got to use it on a few tracks too! Just thought I would throw this out there.

Oh! and PS- the tracks we used it on had the Tempo's tone knob cranked and a Boss DS-1 with the tone knob cranked and it was awful and beautiful at the same time.

From what I've read people seem to like them when they work... Sounds cool, let us know if you fix it... :thumb:

For $25, almost seems stupid not to get it
