Wait, a second, you say that digital pedals get obsolete fast, and thus aren't worth buying, and yet that DD-20 is still on your board? Why isn't it obsolete yet, obviously you're still able to find a use for it?

Is fine to buy strymon pedals if you are really use the trillion parameters and stuff. It cant be denied the second market is busy with people whot bought their products and then realized that good old dd-20 was more than enough for their purposes. The tape simulation in the boss is good enough for me. I´ll stuck mostly to analog pedals with 2 or 3 knobs maximun.

Actually, I've always been amazed at how FEW Strymon pedals I see for sale around the boards. Really the El Cap is the only thing you ever see, and it's usually people who are trying to pay for a Timeline. And yeah, you see a TimeLine every now and then, usually from people trying to charge more than retail for it. But you almost never see any of the other Strymon pedals for sale, like Orbits, Lex's, BlueSky's and shit like that. Leads me to believe that most people who buy them are keeping them. I know that I've been looking for a cheap used Orbit or Lex for a long time, and they very rarely pop up.
They sound great-end of story. My El Cap has beautiful delay sounds and spring reverb that is equally excellent. That's worth the price IMO. I've played $100-150 pedals that sounded less than half as good as the Strymon and only did one thing.

I think Orbit, Ola and Lex have much lower popularity than Strymon delays. That's why they rarely pop up in the classifieds but they cost less that used El Cap or BSR.
I remember when they were developing Elcapistan, it took a lot of time for them to realize what they were looking for and how to get there. Not just copying some other circuit and sell it with small changes. I'ts their right to charge the expenses of the hard work.
It would be better if they relied on selling higher volumes at a lower price rather than a few high priced pedals; but thats only an opinion, they know their market better than I do...

Maybe better for us as the consumer, buuuuut if I had the choice of selling 600 units at $200, or 400 units at $300 a piece, I would choose the higher pricepoint almost every time. Why work twice as hard for the same amount of money?
Some might argue that the comparison wouldn't be so linear. That they may actually sell closer to 800 @ $200 to the original 400 @ $300, since even more people could afford it at that price. But with the lower price they would need to sell 2x or 3x as many just to make the same amount of profit... then have to hire more people to build (since they already have a hard enough time keeping up with demand)... or worse, outsource everything to Chinese factories. I'm sure there's a formula for this type of scenario, but I'll leave it for the economists. I'm already on the verge of a brain meltdown thinking about this.
Well, given all opinions of the original question, I decided to order the Flint.. They have a refund policy if I don't like it, which makes the decision easier.
They make some high quality pedals. Every one I've tried has been fantastic. I have a lex on my board right now and it's the best sounding rotary speaker emulator I've ever heard. Plus all of their pedals have stereo output which makes for some really lush sounds. The pedals are very well thought out with useful features, and the enclosures are great! These are built to last and I wouldn't have any issues about owning them or recommending them. Quality stuff, you can't go wrong.
