That kinks video is seriously what made me buy an electric guitar (that happened to be a telecaster, three years ago :thumb: )

A '72 tele is probably going to be my next guitar though. Or a baritone tele. Or a regular tele. :thumb:

Those pickups are awesome and I would totally fight you over that.

Teles are good for all music and I love a lot of other guitars but if I had to pick just one it would be a Telecaster.

I've seen him with at least a couple of different Teles, but yeah...wonder if that toggles between the volume and tone knob is a split-coil kinda thing?

Not sure about Dylan but that bit of space between the knobs is another great thing about the Tele control plate. That's where I installed a phase switch on mine. Last time I saw Earth I was right up front but didn't actually pay any attention to what was in his guitars.

Well, to each their own. They never jazzed with me and my dad agrees. However it's worth keeping for the feel. Compared to his B-Bender, it just lacked bass and mids. Could be an issue with the wiring or something. :idk:
No need to fight about it though. I'm sure through the right rig they sound fine.

Nah, I don't actually want to fight or anything . I just love the ASAT Special and everyone else I know who's played one thinks they're great. I'd like to get a more traditional tele at some point, but I feel weird having too many guitars around and I've already got more than I need
