Yes, they're expensive but extremely accurate.

I wouldn't use one for live use on a pedalboard (not necessary), but I do use them for intonating, setups, etc....

Sonic Research Turbo Tuner is even more accurate than any of the peterson tuners and is also less expensive

I,Galactus wrote:$200 for tuner? No thanks.

Probably awesome, but pitchblack / TU-2 does fine by me.

Get one of them othern's and some FUZZ and call it a day. :thumb:

Yeah, I'm a Korg man myself, but I'm curious about the Peterson.

I still don't have a pedalboard and have no prospect of playing out anytime soon. So, only interested in accuracy.

Thanks for the recommendation, Fuzz_Pi.

Another turbo tuner vote here, for the reasons above.

Thanks, guys.

Yeah, I'll have to look more closely at all of the features and stuff like that. Obviously, I'd like to spend as little as possible on this purchase.

I originally bought the StroboFlip because it has an attachement to affix it to a music/microphone stand, which made it very easy to use in musical theatre. I ended up buying a StroboClip instead and keep the first one mainly for intonating and setups.

Great stuff and even better CS. I cracked the clamp arm on the StroboClip a week or so ago (had it living on a bass headstock for about a year), emailed them and am getting a new one in the mail, no questions.

I use a Sonic ST 200, just as accurate and less $$$$.

Thanks, one bad monkey, yeah, I've been interested in the StroboFlip for a long time, but it looks like they're no longer in production.

Thanks, MM, looks like I've now got a choice to make.
