I would say if you want something deep and "lush," try and find something with multiple voices. I know the Boss CEs have that and the Iron Ether Polytope. I want to say Cosmichorus but I'm not sure. Same with the Empress by Red Witch but I remember really liking the demos I've seen, regardless. And the Tech 21 boost chorus has a multivoice mode on it.

I get what you're saying....I was just giving EQD the benefit of the doubt as they are undoubtably well made pedals that people here dig. Over time I may have really enjoyed its quirks/charms but I chose to flip it and move on.

I like my chorus to be more disorienting and bending than watery and sleek. And those two do it for me. I don't like it when a chorus sounds too much like a flanger, I like to be closer to vibrato.

The Seppuku Mind Warp might be worth looking at too.

Have you tried the Sea Machine, PP? It can get pretty dang pitch-bendy & seasick sounding.

I really should try it, back when it first came out and people were hyping about it I wasn't into getting a chorus at all. But now that I am... I do need an EQD pedal on my board. :excellent:

Earthquaker Sea Machine. Forever the best.
Heavenly sounds, grating gates; driving cars through surreal fates.

i like the Sea Machine the most because of the slapback/reverby qualities and it can get really weird and spooky.

I don't even like chorus that much but I could see myself rocking a sea machine
