I need a boost and would like to get a SHO clone (Mainly because Vex charges too much and they are usually still too high new).
I am trying to locate a variety of builders who make a SHO clone so that I have some choices.
Who do you know who builds a SHO clone with top of the line components and at a good price?
Any other fairly inexpensive boost pedals you might recommend (with reasons why I would be happier than with a SHO clone)?
Thanks,
D

I've got a fuzzbox and i'm not afraid to use it

I can do it no probs, for the cost of the parts (up to the standard you feel you can afford or want) and a few beers, PM me. (don't like to discuss costs in public) I can also do other boosters and treble boosters with OC44 vintage germaniums so on and a few of my own designs.

Check out the fourbanger. It is four boost circuits that can be used individually or in any combo. Sho is one of the boost. I plan on getting it when I need it. *edit* I just checked up on it and the guy stopped making them. Probably because it was the most clever boost ever. You could def get a schematic from him I'm sure.

I recon I can, although it would be an entirely unprofit build, not even beers for myself as it's someone from a forum I was & am a part of and i'd feel dirty to have beers for it.

I'm thinking about building one myself. I'll build a couple people one for the cost of parts and shipping if anyone is interested. Heres the perf/layout I'm working from...

That's not perf, it's a PCB layout! although I know it's easy to transcribe lol, seems there is lots of competition to make the SHO... *undercuts, £15*

Hey I am sorry to say that I had a guy on the gearpage build me a SHO for $65 shipped. The reason I'm into the sho is because I love the direct sound of the Lo Fi Loop Junky and the direct circuit is supposed to be a SHO circuit. I will use it as an always on pedal.

£15 is about $35 with shipping, but nevermind his build will probably be nicer.
