Yep! it does. It gets more fuzzy with actives, but not so much that you can't control it. The 3 bands let you add in some sizzle and grind on top, while still keeping the low/mid thing nice and strong.

I'll play around with it and see if I can nail that tone.

The more I listen to that clip, I think you'd be better at nailing it with something else. Have a Darkglass?

Yeah, I really wanna avoid that fuzzy/fizzy thing, I had to part with quite a few drives cuz of it :/

Never tried a TAFM.
But should be different... TAFM is germanium and Hawk is silicon (from what I know... I may be wrong).
