I love my whammy, but I've never noticed the need for true bypass.
yeah the true bypass isn't a factor with mine, Tried one at guitar center yesterday, didn't notice any real difference with the poly mode
I was excited about the DC power but it still draws 1300 MA so it's not like I can onespot it any way, the new pedal is cool for a whammy but I will keep my current one.

I'm willing to bet that it doesn't actually use 1300 mA, because previous whammy's never really used that much. I've run my Whammy off of the 800mA outlet on my Cioks AC10, and it runs great.

Yep. There's no way they use even close to that. I've used them on 500ma supplies and they worked.
I understand that it doesn't use that much power, but the fact that it has that much draw makes a onespot iffy meaning I still have an extra wall wart, what I really need right now is a 4 foot long pedal power AC chord so I can reach my whammy from my other pedal board.
Can I just splice in more chord? I am almost positive I can but curious if someone knows a reason why I shouldn't
