Haha. Yeah. I'm just being all bipolar in my amp GAS. I have a bass that has kept me totally bass GAS free for 12 years, a cab that is doing that....just trying to do the same with an amp before the babies come but.....finding one with the sound I cvet means nonquint friendly features (all tube amps that HAVE to be plugged into a speaker (no headphones) and are fucing huge.....or one with the features that would be cool but I'm not sure if the sound will be exactly what I want (solid state guy like Baer or Glock).

Lots of good amps, but if you talk to me every day this wiweek then you'll hear seven different amps I fell in love with.

I'm totally there for my bass, basically no bass GAS other than pie-in-the-sky, it'd-be-nice-to-have-someday-if-I-was-rich. I love my amp, not saying that I'll have it forever, but I'm definitely sold on 100-watt-max tube amps. But I feel like I'm never totally satisfied with my cabs.

I am inlove with my ED130 but the mother fucker is SO FUCKING LOUD. I need a power soak but if I keep going GAS crazy buying shit I am never going to have it.

All Y'all - good GAWD i'm so lucky i stumbled into the Dinger and Aggy GS12's i love and get wet for early. i'm not saying the GS12's are the best cabs evah and i'm sure there are neater options than a Rusty Box into a power amp, but i've always been agiggly Tits Happy with my setup. so glad i've only been flippy flippy with pedz.

NAIL ON THE HEAD, Behndy. I can buy a pedal in a stupid way and sell it back off within 48 hours only losing shipping on it (if I was smart). Buy an amp and have it not turn out right....at least a month or two of waiting....and even if I sell it for what I got it I'm out $50 to $100 on shipping. I can't just go to a store and try shit out, either. Houston would be the nearest place that has decent stuff but that's two hours away.....it wouldn't really have the shit I'm interested in, either.

Ah well, I mean. This is all FIRST World problems. "Wah, look at me. I can't decide between which awesome amp I want." "Shut up emo biatch, they're all awesome."

So you guys are killing it 100W? The only "rigs" I've owned was a solid state Eden rig that got 350W at 4ohms....it was BARELY enough volume. Now that I have the Mesa Bass 400+, I've never had to push it. Looking for something all tube but with wattage in the hundreds would be way more affordable than continuing 300 to 400W.....just don't know if I need the Watts.
