That shit didn't work for me. Maxed out typhoon and two attacks from it still didn't kill the first boss. Ended up just using a couple EMP grenades and an entire assault rifle magazine.

Really? It totally annihilated bosses when I used it, was pretty hilarious having all the build-up to the fight and then I use that twice and win in 10 seconds.
I shot Nathaniel when he turned to pull a crucifix on Blake. I had talked him down. I really didn't want to shoot him. It was reactionary. I'm trying to make myself feel less bad.
P.S. If you ever want to play a game that just makes you feel like a badass: Vanquish.

Hey! Let's talk about serious thing. We're gonna talk about guitar, dude.

Was reading about Dead Space 3 and contrary to most people, I'm still excited about. People can complain all they want about keeping the Survival Horror roots (even though I never thought of it as survival horror, I always had plenty of resources and shot my way through just about everything on the hardest difficulty) and all but I'm glad they decided to switch it up. Besides trudging through a blizzard with near zero visibility fighting off Necromorphs, how fun does that sound?
Plus with the coop play I can probably get my pussy friends to finally get into the series with me
I like when game developers switch their games up before things get stale (I'm looking at you Call of Duty).
lol. i still dig CoD. but more for the silly gibs of playing online. for awhile. i get BURNT after about a month of Playing Way Too Often.
i'm excited about Dead Space 3. i just got 2 about a month ago, really dug it. kiiiiiinda pissed at the DLC i bought.... slightly different guns do not make a second playthrough any more enjoyable. i was hoping for NEW weapons.
but yeah. it's never been survival horror. it's been a fun 3rd person adventure shooter with fucking horrible things to kill. like it a lot though.
is new Rez Evil gonna be good? last one was..... a'ight. not awesome though.

Yeah I still play CoD with friends if they have it. World at War will always be my favorite though, my love for the series declined rapidly after that. The only game I play competitively now is FIFA12 and it rips me apart every time.
Are you refering to the Severed DLC? Because that one was so quick, cool but way too quick for the price. I loved DS2 though, so many great, memorable moments.
behndy wrote:i didna dl the Severed. got some gun pack that gave me percentage damage multipliers to the guns i already had. kinnnnnnnda disappointing.
Yeah some new functionality would have been nice or something, Severed was at least 2-3 hours of new gameplay.
I've never actually played any of the Grand Theft Auto games, so this week I started playing GTA III. Quality game, and my computer can actually handle it since it's so old now. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get my wanted level over 4 stars, though.

You gotta keep progressing and you'll "unlock" more stars. Man I was blown away the first time I played that game, it was like playing Mario 64 for the first time again. Riding in the bed of a pickup, trying to survive with the pedestrian riot and pedestrians have weapons codes on was amazing.
