The boost on the Fz-2 is worth the price alone. Great pedal, and yeah it's instant Dopethrone.

Make sure you redzone your guitar track when you're mixing & mastering, too.

Well then.

One of the Best doom tones I've ever heard live (on bass) was a Sansamp into an SS Ampeg and a fridge.

Anyway, we all know the Dopethrone guits are FZ-2>Tubes>Iggy Pop remaster of Raw Power style clipping, but what about the bass? It's all clanky and gross and glorious.
