those things are gonna be around 300 dollars?! I've wanted a white or natural mustang. The bodies look smaller, this all looks awesome.

The only thing I noticed that I didn't care for with the Mascis Squire was the frets definitely could use some dressing/TLC, but for the price of these guitars I'm really not going to complain

i think I may pass on all this and go for the VMJM. I like simplicity and it is an amazing sounding guitar. I played it and loved it and don't see myself needing all the electronics. Roomie has the AMJM and I like the sound of the Squiers more...more jangle less pretentious and horrid attempts at preservation. Squier has been doing it right over the past few years.
The only thing I'd get would be the Mustang just because its white...but I already have a MIJ.
HOLY ABBV BTMN

I can get on board with that.
Though, the Tele Deluxe in my price range is stealing my attention. I just want to slap a third humbucker in that jank and hump it.

Hey! Let's talk about serious thing. We're gonna talk about guitar, dude.

If it follows standard suit they are the same price for the MSRP which is 499 and the other items at that sell for 274. So get ready.

So I'm thinking real hard about getting one of these jazzmasters and a baritone conversion neck for it

Musicians Friend has them up for preorder now. They posted the Jaguar as the Jazzmaster.

GEEEEEEEZ. A Squier Tele that comes readymade for a P-90 in the neck and they have to put THAT headstock on it? I love huge headstocks, but they don't belong on Teles. I always wonder what makes them say "Let's put a Strat headstock on a Tele!"
And yes, I know about the Custom II, but I just don't dig those.

The Deluxe was that way in the 70s, so that's why. The Custom with the Tele bridge pickup has the conventional Tele headstock.
[Whoops, quote fixed.]
