Re: What is in the post? The thread of and for GAS!
I either want a Barbershop or a vertical FUCK. Had a Fuck before, liked it a lot, but the Barbershop was my favorite in the Fairfield tourbox. I feel like they are similar in a basic sense. The Fuck obviously has more functionality, I'm just not sure I need it.

Re: What is in the post? The thread of and for GAS!
The guy that sold me the guitar told me that he didn't know that the screws that were in the neck weren't original, and that he tried to document via the pictures in the auction the extent of things.
I noticed a few small marks on the body and neck which I honestly didn't mind, and I saw that the neck plate was missing, which isn't a huge issue, but there wasn't really a close up shot of the neck pocket where the cracks or screws were, and there wasn't a close shot of the hole in the fretboard.
Lame and disappointed. I messaged him this morning and asked for a return. Luckily the auction had a 14 day return policy. I'm waiting for his reply

You should def be protected with a return policy and the guitar being not as described at all. I wouldn't worry too much as long as the guy seems like he wants to remedy the situation.

HA ha. That's funny. I've wanted a Barbershop since they were the only pedals in the Fairfield line. Still don't have one and I've got almost all the other pedals (save for the Operator). I don't really use overdrive, but the Barbershop sounded really good in the demo you did.

Yeah he seemed to be really understanding and could tell I was really bummed out which is good and he seemed willing to remedy it since I hadn't left feedback yet

Yeah I mean it's kind of astounding how good it sounds with anything running into it, or stacked into other pedals. Very few pedals seem to perform that well anywhere in the chain. I can't recall why I got rid of the Fuck, but I am so stoked on the Barbershop it may not be worth trying again.

I had both. Very good OD.
Barbershop is more transparent and saggy. Fuck OD has a bigger gain range and that Fuck mode!!!
I'm using my Liquid Gain Hydra at the moment.
I'm curious about the FuzzHugger(fx) Magic Meter. So much GAS for this one.

Wounded Paw Battering Ram just came in, it is pretty freaking awesome running the OD and Fuzz in parallel. Holds them lows on the bass.
