I've been through a few loopers in the past, I started with an RC-20XL, but I found myself a little dumbfounded with banking and saving and whatever, and the sound quality with distortion was a little bit off.

I moved to the TimeLine's looper, and it kind of flubs out with how hot my signal is.

The DD7 has been cool, simple, and without tone loss. BUT HOW FUCKING COOL ARE BOOMERANGS AMIRTE

I might keep the DD7 on my board for multiple loops! How rad would that be?? Fuck!

What is the recording time of the DD7?
Anyway, Boomerang III is the next big thing on my ever changing list. :)

I think it's about 40 seconds, but infinite layers overtop of them. And I've not ever noticed any sort of sound manipulation, high end loss, or added distortion when layering with a super hot signal. It's an incredible, underrated looper, and in my opinion way better in sound quality than the RC-20XL

They're a lot less then some of the really fancy loopers, and all you really lose is the ability to save stuff!

haven't really started looking, but i've been batting this idea around in my head about trying to get out and do some solo noise/electro shit with just the ipad and a bass plus EFFECTS. for that i'd want a small amp for the bass, but i can't really see anything with smaller than a 12" speaker sounding good. and at that i might as well just do 1 Aggie GS112 with a micro poweramp on top. mic that shit.

but i'm super busy with the band thinger we're making mad progress with, so i dunno if i'd even get around to all that.
