Was checking out the Roto Choir but again, didn't seem to have stereo outs, which I am totally hung up on.
There's actually a Lex on ebay right now that I'm watching......

Been tooling around with using a mxr Phase 90 before a tremolo, and it does sound pretty groovy.
But, alas, I am now obsessed with that rotary sound......

The Roto Choir out is stereo on a TRS jack. So you need a splitter cable to run it in stereo. I've only run it mono so far and it definitely gets something going, but I've heard stereo is better.

Let's flog this thread a bit more.
Anyone have an opinion of the vibrato option on the EQD Grand Orbiter?
I'm not a huge phase dude, but that pedal has always intrigued me....

Not to confuse matters more, Phengren Oswald, but I like the vibrato settings on the Blackout Effectors Whetstone a lot. I actually think I use the vibrato more than the phaser settings. It's not a perfect pedal by any means, but it is quite versatile. It's got vibrato, phaser and ring modish goodness. Hopefully you'll get some more helpful responses.

Yeah, there're a bunch of good demos of the Whetstone. I think Bobby D. did like half of 'em. He seemed to really like the pedal and took the time to really explore what it can do. I think Mudfuzz did a pretty lengthy demo of it as well. The ring mod function isn't a true ring mod, but it's a close enough fake ring mod. Whetstone's not cheap, but it's got a lot of functionality for the money.

Here's Bobby D.'s Whetstone vibrato demo:

I got to check it out at NAMM, and it's definitely kickass. Unique design, and build quality seems bulletproof too.

Also, I'd have to think that the Foxrox Aquavibe would be in the running for best vibe pedal, though I've never gotten to play one. So much lust for that box...yet I so totally don't need one, and them thangs be pricey.

LOVE amptweaker. :!!!:

The Tightmetal is one of the most BADASS distortions, and sounds fucking AWESOME on bass. James also modded my Bass Tightdrive to add in some clean lows (which he's also gonna do on the Tightmetal for me shortly)

They have the most volume on tap of any distortion/drive pedals I own and the construction, tone, and features give a lot of other stuff a SERIOUS run for the money.

They still haven't caught on in the "everyone has one" kinda way, but they're really outstanding. I have demos of the Tightrock, Tightmetal, and Bass Tightdrive in my sig :)
