Yeah, I've still got 'em from when I was in high school. They've held up. I haven't really been shooting darts lately, but've been thinking it may be a good summertime activity when it's too hot to be outside. (Bars with dart boards tend to be well air conditioned.) ILF Interstate Dart Leauge, anyone?

No clue what this is...some sort of scorpion/cricket hybrid. it was dead when I found it along a river after they had let the dam outa few hours prior to this photo...there were dozens of them on the rocks. Pardon the low resolution
could be The fore legs don't really look suited for digging, but I'm no entomologist. I figured it was some kind of water dwelling beast that got washed down river in the torrent.
This badass has been lurking out in front of my door for a while. I can't really get my iPhone camera to focus on the spider but it's pretty crazy looking.

Stonefly larvae.
my buddy is super good at identifying bugs and he could get that catepillar and moth right off the bat. but i'd have to look stuff up
Found this Elateridae (clicker beetle) today in my yard. I see small ones pretty often (1/2"), but I haven't seen one this size in years. When I was a kid we'd put the big ones on their backs and they would pop above our heads. This one played dead when I was holding it.
Oh yeah, I've been meaning to post this one. I was outside playing with my son about a week ago, and he found this guy clinging to his beach ball. He was about 3" long including legs.
Looks similar to one of Tom's spiders on the first page.
