I personally find that set necks do fuck all. *shrug*

Same. Give me a bolt-on any day.

see, in my experience, set-neck guitars sustain twice as long as my strat. i really love my friend's electromatic...it's dark and sonorous, but still twangy. i think the set-neck has a fair bit to do with that.

i also am tired of my strats scale length too. :idk:

I have come to realize that I have chronic Explorer gas. I want one in every flavor.

I don't even have to check to KNOW that black burst is from the Music Zoo :joy:

I'm actually headed there today for strings and bullshit. Maybe I'll give it a test ride :p

Watched a Kramer 450g go off last night for $650 which was a really decent price. I didn't bid on it though because someone had gutted the bridge and put an active Di Marzio as well as a preamp and pickup splitting toggles on it

I'm GASing hard for my friend's '58 Les Paul. We might trade my SG and ac30 for it since he doesn't like Les Pauls.

I'd be pretty stoked if the deal works out..

I used to have an old all-mahogany one from 1976 or so. Great sounding but stupid looking guitar with a neck the size of a flagpole. Sold it for way too little monies and I wish I'd kept it.
Good deals done with all these guys

Played a 70's Explorer bass that my friend Parker from Cough has, it was a hefty bass but it played pretty well
