Yea I'm waiting for an old PV to surface on CL. None yet.

What about the Crate Blue Voodoos?

Definitely Peavey. If you post that you're looking for them on CL, rather than waiting for one to appear, someone might drag it outta their garage and let you know about it.
...also I don't know anything about Crate cabs lulz

The Crate 4x12's with the Celestion 70-80's, Epiphone 1x12 or 4x12 w/ the Eminence Lady Luck, Blackheart 1x12 or 4x12 w/ the Eminence Blackheart, Randall 4x12 with Eminence Jaguars were all good ones I've tried. The Crate & Randall's were esp good for roaring distortion and heavy fuzz, and the Blackheart and Eminence cabs sounded good clean and fuzzed. I still have my Randall cab. You should be able to find one of those in the $150-$250 range used.

IIRC, the Crate Blue Voodoo cab was in the 'too cheap' category. A lot of the speakers that Crate used in various cabs plain sucked.

I honestly would jump on that and just remove the Crate badges. If anything pops up and I see it, I'll holla. We look at the same CL after all.

Yes we do my friend. :)

There was a peavey 1x15" cab for $30 and I procrastinated and missed it.

The cab my Traynor Darkhorse came with is really awesome, and pretty cheap. The build quality is better than my Avatar bass cab (to be fair, Avatar's bass cabs are built a little different than their guitar cabs). I'd imagine all their cabs are the same build quality.

I didn't like the Greenback speaker that came in it, but you can sell a like new Greenback for about the cost of a new Eminence speaker, so that's just a small annoyance, really.

Some of the BV are Celestion v30s, some are Eminence. I gather that all are the same birch ply constructionand well built. $100 sounds pretty reasonable for a solid cab unloaded. You may not have an issue with the stock speakers, either.

Beware Ampeg 412s of recent times. Shoddy MDF construction, horrid tones from what I gather.
