I hear ya, same here. I could start putting money aside like I did for my MTD's and whatnot......and along with that would mean all pedal whoring must cease for that time as well.

I'm SOOO comfortable in the bass department that yeah..... couldn't justify holding a 5K bass let alone bringing it anywhere.

At that price I wouldn't want to play it. That or I'd get insurance on the fucker in case something happened or god forbid it get stolen. That's a decent used car for that price! I wonder how this stuff gets paid for... man. It was like pulling a leg to raise $700, I can't imagine several thousand

Yeah, it's basically taking my paycheck, dividing up what I need for my mortgage and assorted bills for the month, some for food, and the rest goes into savings.

It's not fun during, but the outcome would be (has been) totally worth it :)*

Because...there's a free old Harmony archtop incoming as well. That I already bought a cheap pickup for. lulz.
SKULLSERVANT I WILL BE NEEDING YOUR INPUT AS TO WHAT MODS ARE COOL AND SUCH I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS
Hey, I have a reverb tank, has anyone documented any verb mods?

FUCCKKKK WHY DO I JUST SEE THESE THINGS>

To mod it for a tank, you pretty much make it unable to pass any other signal other than the tank. Look into BitMod or whatever its called. I was thinking about converting my spare to a tube reverb tank before I got the Sceptre

I'm hoping that's the outcome of this Kramer jazz. I keep losing eBay bullshit auctions and it keeps making me want one even more. I've wanted an aluminum ever since I found out about Bean back about 5-6 years ago, I just never could afford one. I guess B/S/T has its perks sometimes, I've built up enough shit that I can just off it (most often) at will for things. I've never spent more than $1000 on anything before, but I could definitely see the giant reward at the end for something like that

Out: 2nd Voice
In: Catalinbread Semaphore. This thing has so many cool sounds in it. It says it can run at 9 or 18v, does that mean up to 18? My Supa Charger will do up to 16v, I think, and it seems like the headroom might be nice...

Yeah, anything in between is fine. It doesn't need to be a multiple of 3

Ahhh...
I REALLY want to build an Echo Base next.
But I need to buy more solder and wires and the enclosure and paint and nearly all of the materials and the PCB and...shit. The job hunting is going into overdrive soon I think.
