also, my RB is my only preamp. i keep it where it's a little wooly, a bit more if i hit them strings harder. but not full on dirt. that's what the B3k and Elemenenenenenents are for.

My gain is set about 3:00 on my rusty with the switch set to hi. Volume is about 3:00 too. There is some dirt, but to me, it's very little. Mine's used as a preamp at the end of my chain.
