Old overdrive pedal.. Arion SOD-1?

Post by yallerhon »

Hey guys,

I just realised that buried somewhere in all of my stuff is an Arion SOD-1 that I bought as a kid, and promptly ignored as my Boss ME-30 seemed much cooler for my teenage needs.

Just wondering.. Do people like Arion stuff? Is it worth anything? I'll probably try to find it / dig it out if people have good things to say about it.

It looks like this:

I'm one of those fans :hello:
Haven't used that overdrive though. Would love to try it out.
The stereo phaser is nice, and the metal master is too (for deh blak metalz). Some people go crazy about the chorus and a couple others.
They were all pretty cheap when you could still buy them from stores, but the prices have gone up. Seen Arion pedals from $15 to $125 or so.

edit: The OD it stereo too!? That's neat, the MMaster was as well...not often dirt pedals have stereo options

Cool! I remember it being relatively cheap and that I didn't like it when I was 15.. At the time all I understood was either playing 'acoustic' or with 'distortion'. Beginner Ibanez electric, little 15 watt 8" speaker Peavey amp.. simple times.

I hope I can find this pedal in all my junk! :)
