Very cool. Who's behind the delay?
Who else but the always amazing infanem.

I should say that Ken is behind the engineering, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be a devi ever branded delay. It's all kinda up in the air at this point. We'll have it all fleshed out after the kickstarter is done.

Devi is lying, and taking your money. Period.
Done.
Anybody saying differently is personally helping to fuck other people out of their cash,
I don't think kickstarter works like that mate
Also, fuck you.

STOP GETTING SCAMMED.
And Devi, fuck off. Even if this is you trying to make right by all the people you've fucked over, just stop. Just fuck off. It's bullshit that you'd keep trying to take these kids' money.
Why are you still in this thread?

I hope Devi succeeds with this. I'm all for her as now that she's being nice.

I think I am with solario on this. I just don't see the difference to an ordinary pedalboard. Just imagine someone invented a Cornish Multi-Pedal type deal where you could just slide in any pedal with top-mounted jacks.
Now this is a little smarter, because it manages to save some space by moving the pots out of the pedal enclosure and having additional routing/blending options. It is taking the idea much farther than I would have been able to take it, but that might also be because the idea of trying to replace the board itself with something built by someone else seems like a path that does not warrant further investigation.
That said I'd think the C1 is actually the most useful of these units, because you'd get an easy way to try your breadboarded shizz with your board. (@Devi: Is there going to be a cart with colour coded alligator clips so you could connect any prototype?) Also it would be a simple way for clean blend lovers like myself to add clean blend to a pedal if the builder is not so into custom jobs. When I played the Ghost Effects Pep Box for example I would have loved to know how it sounds with a clean blend.

To your first point, this isn't about replacing pedalboards... it's about making it easier for developers to create effects, and for people interested in those developers to purchase them at an affordable price.

... and yes, there will be a breadboard adapter, as well as blank perfboard cartridges.
There's actually a kickstarter reward level just for those things. This message is most likely very old, so things said here probably don't apply to the current state of all things devi ever. As always, you can visit www.deviever.com for the latest on devi ever related projects.

I'm just joking around of course... plhogan has actually been a long time devi fan (after a little google search).... well... former long time fan.

There's plenty of pedalmakers with histories of screwing over their customers but Devi ain't one of em.

How the time's change.... once again I'm sorry to those who have feel screwed... I'm doing everything in my power to make amends.

I don't really see this as a pedalboard replacer any more than any single effect is. Personally I'm going to use it in the middle of my chain and use the console to supplement my current lineup without having a sprawling pedalboard. And for simple jam sessions it could definitely come in handy. Or just set it on top of my synth and use it to make fun noises.
Is this going to have soft-touch switching? Because that would be
! And, how is this thing going to be powered?
