Complete rig shot! Randy's Revenge finally came in to fill up the last spot on the board, am really happy with this rig now, apart from needing that damned new Moog tap tempo delay thing.

Thanks guys! you're too kind.

Let's see:

Yeah the Caprid is MASSIVE. I didn't think it would be this large from the photos, I was expecting something along the lines of the box of war, but when I saw the shipping box from Prymaxe I knew something was up. It basically has the same enclosure size as the actual EHX, along with the shit-ton of wasted space. While I kinda dig the compact yet tank-like new design the Box of War uses, turns out these gargantuan ones are good fun to step on as well! Haven't missed the footswitch yet  :thumb:

I'm a huge Muff fan, have tried many other fuzz "types", always come back to muff designs. Before this, I was pretty much enamored with Skreddy pedals, particularly the Ernie and Zero. The Ernie is a Ram's Head type if I'm not wrong. Well the Caprid knocks it off the board, so I suppose it's THAT good. Between the Caprid and BOW I feel like I've got all bases covered, special mention to the Caprid which can sound huge and heavy (think Rano Pano) then the tone and sustain can be cranked to a tone that seriously makes ears bleed, quite a feat with 3 knobs really. I can't talk about comparisons between these and the original EHX ones, but from what I've read, W&C seems to put quite a bit of effort into replicating and tweaking the circuits with pretty top-notch parts. I've been dying to try stomp under foot and Tym pedals, but I've never gotten round to it (been trying to get a Fuzz Munchkin forever, it's not to be I suppose). I know W&C seems really pricey, but I feel like I'm getting what I pay for with these, I mean look at the pretty enclosures!

Spring Theory and RRR, I adore the RRR, particularly H1 which is in my opinion the best sounding Hall out there. Other notable reverbs I've tried include the WET, BlueSky and Space. I don't think I need to sing the praises of the RRR, everything that needs to be said has been said somewhere on this site, buy it. I didn't buy the Spring Theory to compare the rooms, I bought it because it has the one thing the RRR doesn't do (besides shimmery octave stuff, but I don't use it so it's a moot point for me), and does it amazingly. If you want crazy, the spring theory has an infinite setting and does oscillate which the RRR isn't capable of, which is the only time I use the room for awesome ambient sounds. I suppose it comes down to what kind of reverb you're looking for. Right now my go-to settings are as seen in the photo, I'm using the H1 for a (relatively) subtle hall, and the ST for a very in-your-face fluttery spring reverb on a pretty high setting.

For the record I enjoyed the sounds of the Space a lot too, it did a very convincing spring and the parameter control was ace, but I just think pedals with screens don't get along very well with me. I really can't be arsed to fiddle with presets and menus, and the digital conversion was audible, even for someone like me who usually doesn't give two shits about signal degradation and all that jazz, it was pretty annoying so it had to go.

tl:dr buy both.
