I think paint makes things a little more original, but also can look a little more DIY compared to designed labels. I like sticker labels ontop painted enclosures though :thumb:

I prefer paint but I know that not cost effective. But a vinyl sticker can look cool too.

I'd generally prefer the paint, but it sorta depends on the quality of the paint vs. the stickers. Sometimes stickers can be pretty nice.

Eh, Pedals are to be stepped on,

I have had some hand painted stuff that I thought was pretty cool and it flipped just like everything else.

I have been letting my kids paint some of my clones lately, which is pretty fun. Elmer's paint markers yo

I think originality is more important the the medium.

Both are nice. I like paint with stickers the best, a nice coat of paint is really "clean" looking and feeling to me. But you can do much cooler designs with stickers than hand painting, at least for production's sake. I do also like the EHX XO pedals that are silk screened, those cool to. I really don't care, if it sounds like shit and looks like a million bucks who cares?

I've never been picky about the enclosure. Stickers can be cool and creative. Paint can be cool if it isn't too plain, otherwise a nice powdercoated enclosure is way better. Handpainted pedals can be really hit or miss though.

This.

I just don't love all handpainted stuff. I want to...Some of it is cool and some just looks like a little kid painted it (no offense to my kids who paint wonderful stuff...for a 7yo)

But I also fucking love the complex art that stickers can do.
