Shipping stuff from US to EU

I'm looking to get one of the Lunchbox amps for demoing, but apparently shipping is going to be $80 or so. Does anyone have experience shipping stuff from the US and how much it would cost? my Xaviere guitar didn't cost that much to ship here.
