I'm not sure what it's based on so I'm just hunting around the different Muffs I think sound nice lol. Wren and Cuff keeps coming back haha!

I've heard good things about Stomp Under Foot too, but no clips of any of their muffs sound like the EHX tone wicker. In fact clips of the same pedal don't even sound the same as each other. :\
Good deals with: PumpkinPieces, maz91379, allicio, nelsinian, tomlane95, casperh7, insubordination, bronzetalon

According to this: http://www.kitrae.net/music/big_muff_history3.html

It's a classic muff with the ability to lift the tone circuit and the ability to lift some caps. Should not be a problem to have someone build it for you, even though I think you will have to deal with the noise.

Talk to Mcspunkle, I once bought one off him that had wicker mods plus a noise gate, it was a standard NYC muff but sounded like a wicker and had a noise gate. I am sure he could do it to any NYC muff if he is still doing mods.

The one up the top is a FF clone, the red swirly one is a coloursound fuzz clone and the purple one is a rat clone. The blue one is a behringer phaser without the paint. :)

ok, I really like the single notes and chords, but the palm mutes... not my cup of tea. too much noise in there, although it's the first fuzz that sounds more organic than any fuzz I heard before. But I'm a bit hooked, I got to admit that ;)

It does sound a bit better in person but I guess I just like my things a little noisy

You should also check out Dr. Scientist's The Elements, It does great boost, eq, overdrive, distortion and fuzz sounds, that might be more your speed :thumb:

btw new pedal on the board. an old Ibanez FL9 from 83, sounds huge and warm and just perfect. I never thought I would like a flanger, but this one is just pure gold :)

Awesome! I think You'll love the Elements, it's insanely heavy and stays super tight.
