Anyway.. My point of this is anything you know of that can be used for CV and by CV and through CV as well as ideas you have for things you want and need and tricks you know or want to know PLEASE post!
personally I am really in need of suggestions for small mult units
Randy's Revenge can output CV, and it's super cool. The only other CV-capable pedal I have right now is the Faye Sing, but I plan on getting a Xerograph at some point and all 3 of those synced up is going to be siiiiiiiick.
i make all the pedals i build with CV or expression output and inputs. So I made a meatball envelope filter with a CV and expression out, and then an expression input. I also made the Tap Tempo Tremolo from musicpcb to output expression for its LFO. Also have CV input for speed and depth, which I control with the envelope generator from the meatball for some cool sounds.
In my opinion, all modulation pedals should have CV out and in,. Why isnt this the standard as it is for synth modules???
Multiples units are extremly easy to build and adapt for your uses. They can really be as small as 3 jacks in a row, 1 carrier dividing into two CV inputs. All they are are a series of jacks wired in parallel, as many as you'd like in a row. They can be that simple, or you can start adding potentiometers for fades, or switches for on/off, etc. Super simple!!
Fuckin hell that's cool. Nice that it has 4 outputs, and the price is pretty good so I may have to hit that up! And yeah that delay looks amazing, I just need to conquer my addiction to food.
I made a rather large passive CV box a while back...
And I called it Spaghetti Monster! I made a similar thing a while back except it had tap switches and a joystick and shit, called "Massive Passive." I heard from somebody not long ago who saif they were using it on their Slim Phatty.

Can someone explain why I want CV and not just like a normal Moog EP-2 or something? Is the only benefit it being a universal standard or does it do cool stuff that normal expression pedals don't? Me no understandz.

That’s quarter-assed at best.
First off - very cool thread. I totally dig having CV options on my gear and always searching for new tips. I'm with you folks who are frustrated that more pedals dont have CV options. I'm not a midi guy, so beyond expression pedals (which is certainly a great option to have), being able to send different waveforms in/out pretty much explodes open the capabilities of your gear. One of the main reasons I keep going down the Moog road is because of CV. I use the MP201 to flow all kinds of waves into the ring mod, phaser, delay and murf. It also allows me to easily integrate stuff like the grendel drone commander (clock out/lfo in) or knas moisturizer (all kinds of CV). Or being able to the take the carrier out of the ring mod or the squarewave out of the Snazzy Mini-Ark directly into an amp is killer. Talk about big bottom - my baby's got em'! I'm only a few years in on CV, so hardly an expert, but very much enjoy the sonic mayhem (or order) from my plugin explores. I get why pedal builders are hesitant to add CV - 99% of guitar/bass players dont use it and it would just increase the unit cost. Personally I'm ok paying more for CV options. Hopefully threads like these get more players into CV, but I think it will remain a niche market for strummers.
