Re: The what ever thread...
we have problems like that in the USA, where they'll build suburban housing developments next to farmlands that have been cultivated for 150 years and then complain about the noise and dust. hello, it's farmland...what were you expecting, fashion shows? it's even better when folks move up into the high mountains and then bitch about the bears. you moved into their neighborhood, homes.

Re: The what ever thread...
Wasn't attacking you in case it came across that way, simply stating anytime a few people have an issue like this it turns into a big deal. If you owned a club like this and some guy decided to build a house a couple hundred yards away would you want to drop 10 grand on isolation so you can keep bringing in local bands (aka not much money)? This venue was actually about 10 miles outside of city limits and didn't even have houses within a mile before those people built there and complained/shut it down. I'm not sure how things like that even work well out into the country but I didn't even know what went down until after it was already closed.

all it takes is one person with a bug up their butt to make a world of expensive trouble with the local zoning commission or other authorities.

Re: The what ever thread...
Every week I get these emails from my old job that a direct deposit was put into my bank account, but the "check" attachment is always blank and there's no actual deposit (as it should be). However, I'm half worried/half hoping that something goes wrong at some point and it ends up depositing thousands of dollars into my account by accident in some weird Office Space-esque scenario.

Turns out that the, "presence," control on my amp could also easily be labeled, "blanket thickness."

My "resonance" control is like that, and I'm pretty sure the "presence" one is a placebo.

Re: The what ever thread...
lol, the problem with that kind of comedy is that they often find it funnier then the people watching. I have the same issue with loiter squad. Being funny isn't all it takes to be a good comedian. Dig?
This was kind of adorable though.
