Yup, Animoog, the Filtatron, uhhhh. That's all I have on my phone...I know there are some decent other apps, but can't think of them off the top of my head.

Moog stuff?

Moog stuff! I also like Orphion and Donut. One is an instrument, the other a crazy looper. And whatever simulates old drum machines, the one I'm having fun with is called Dr. Rhythm or something like that.

the Animoog is SILLY good. can totally see using that for real stuff. the Electribe is pretty damn good. the Kaossilator is... ok. need to delve to see if it will do what i want it to. if it does, that's AWEDOME 'cause i have a pretty small application window in mind for it. way rather drop $20 instead of $400.

nice! thanks! i'll look at Orphion and Donut. i'm really more interested in different takes on soft synth interface stuff. i have damn good stuff on the PC. curious about a touch interface approach.

Yeah, I tried everything man. I really wanted to like it :( ITS GOING TO A GOOD HOME.
I'm going to use the Big Spider for now. The Super Special Twosome will be here today, so going to give that a shot on bass :)
It must be noted that I hate the Big Spider on guitar. But in combo with the Buzz Box, I can now run the Big Spider with a shit ton of low end into any amp and leave it smoking :D

The Elements is a solid choice for boost/OD/distortion. I highly recommend it.

The best thing about the Spider is playing arpeggios and hearing it freak out and warp the notes. SO GOOD. That's where I like it on guitar. I think the scooped mode works better on anything non-bass as well. Like melodica.
Also it's fucking awesome into a light ring mod, especially when doing the above. Works fantastically doing that higher up on bass as well.
I think it prolly sounds best into old or old school-sounding amps, and always with the highs a little lower than you usually set them, and at decent volume. I was surprised by how shitty it sounds into my friend's GK bass combo -- even in mode 2 it's just a fizzy mess.
I haven't GASed for many pedals lately but that Twosome is reaaally interesting. I bet it's great on bass.
