Which Analog Delay should I get
The last delay I got was a memory toy. it was "meh". since I sold it, I've been delay less, for the last 6 or some months, and now that I'm working again, I feel it's time to get one I'll be happy with. What does everyone suggest? I think it's between:
Maxon AD900/999
EHX Memory Man
Retro Sonic Analog Delay
DMB Lunar Echo
-EDIT the next two are not analog to my knowledge, but they're pretty cool regardless
Skreddy Echo-
T-Rex Reptile 2
suggestions? What's gonna make me happy enough to finally keep a delay on my board?

Pretty sure the skreddy isn't analog, but I think any of those would do nicely. Have you seen the Way Huge Supa-Puss yet?

SEEN, but haven't heard anything about it price wise or release date wise.

I do love my Deluxe Memory Man, it's staying with me a heck of a lot longer than the Memory Boy did that's for sure. I mean if you have the board space. My friend has the behringer Vintage Time Machine it sounds pretty awesome. A bit dirtier than my Memory Man.
And what about those DOD analog delays? There's one that has a trim pot inside that bit crushes the repeats or something.

if i were to choose from these, i'd narrow it down to Lunar Echo and Skreddy Echo
and then i'd be fucking lost because they both sound mindblowing

Yeah, I actually prefer my DT Jr to the analogue delays I've tried. The DMM is better in some ways, but so huge, and the DT has a really nice tape-y quality, does a lot more repeats, and the tone control is very useful. The big disaster transport has speed control of the modulation too, which is something I always wanted on the DMM.

Re: Which Analog Delay should I get
I've got many and varied delays already, so something's gotta be a bit different to catch my eye/ear. Malekko LoFi 616 does. Not a do it all, but that bugger has some cool tricks in it.

From the one I had, I wouldn't recommend it aside from studio usage or whatever. The repeats quality and bypass weren't the greatest and the output decreased as I increased the mix level.

Raintes is selling a Corrigan'd freakshow digilog. I love mine, it's definitely different from any other delay I have tried though.

Gotta put a vote in for the subdecay echobox it sounds great has trails and the chorus effect made me unload all my chorus pedals

Skreddy Echo has the sweetest modulation I've ever heard. Definitely my favorite delay I've tried (includes Timefactor and El Cap, though later I found out that I had a faulty El Cap). I'd also recommend the Memory Lane Jr. if you need tap tempo...its modulation is also sweet!

Re: Which Analog Delay should I get
DMB sounds REALLY nice. The whacked-out sounds are nutso, and the "hi-def" sounds are really nicely balanced.
I'm more like a mids-ist than a bassist.

Re: Which Analog Delay should I get
Do not discount the Jack Deville Dark Echo. Digital, but real dark and foggy repeats, you can create an awesome swirl behind what you are playing if you set the knobs right, including the "Sway" knob, which adds a killer and more subtle modulation than the Skreddy Echo, which I also love. But you can find the Dark Echo for a lot less.
Also, there is the Endangered Audio AD4096, which is analog, but rather expensive which is a downer for a lot of people, but...damn does it sound good, especially in the loop of the Skreddy, which helps control the runaway feedback when you click the "Expand" footswitch.

Good deals on ILF: too many to list, just ask!

This.
The Skreddy is NOT analog, but sounds freekin awesome.
I'll add another to your list: Endangered Audio Research AD4096 is all analog.
Haven't gotten my hands on it yet personally, but it sounds beautiful from everything I've heard.
