Good point. There is a difference between not liking a band, and thinking they suck or flat out hating them. Maybe I just don't pay enough attention anymore, but it seems like there is no middle ground where someone can honestly just say "Metallica is a great band, but I just don't care for them." It's either you hate them or you are a fanboy. Not that you can take anything on the internet too serious though. I would say it's safe to assume there are plenty of internet tough guys who will talk shit about Metallica and what a douche Lars is and how they sold out and how they could play so much better than Kirk because he is such a sloppy player and John Petrucci is so much better and all he does is use his wah and has sucky tone and on and on and on....and then when nobody is paying attention, put on some Metallica.
