Brutal Bass Fuzz

Post by Bassboar »

I'm becoming obsessed with acquiring brutal bass fuzzes.
As of right now, I've got:
Siamese Beard
Rainbow Death(on the way)
Megalith(being built)
Behemoth(more overdrive, but can get really angry sounding)
What are your favourite brual fuzzes for bass?
Help me feed my obsession!

I really actually enjoyed the Boss ODB-3.
Right now I'm digging the Big Spider as you probably already know, but it sounds a lot better being fed into a dirty amp.
V1 Sovtek Big Muff is also great.
I know its not a fuzz, but the DOD Death Metal on bass sounds really, really great.

I had a Baby Thundaa, miss it quite a bit.
I'm also thinking about a Big Spider.
I think the trim knob on the ECT maybe the key to using it like I want.
Keep those suggestions coming boys!

Didn't jive with the Tone Macine, not guttural enough.
The HOTD does sound badass, but didn't aen put the kybosh on it a little while ago.
I'm after current pedals, not discontinued or vintage stuff.
So that puts the Ezekiel, Sovtek and DOD out of the race.

I don't think the Hair of the Dog is out of production ... it's still listed on the Dwarfcraft website under pedals, and it's listed as in-stock at Analogue Haven. :idk:

Really?
I thought it would suck on bass... pretty small caps in there and the tone control/general response of the circuit isn't really designed for low frequencies... :idk:

Swollen Pickle actually sounds really good once you find the right setting.
