Figured this may or may not be useful. Why not a RATIONALIZATION thread? We've all made impulse buys before, why not reason with each other in this thread....

Current reasoning:

Found a 1x18 Emperor Bass cab SUPER cheap. Don't NEED it, but it would bring teh lows. Probably weighs a lot, but looks beautiful DOING IT

Kramer Aluminum guitar- wants sooo bad, but I mean, I definitely don't NEED another guitar. I just enjoy the sound of aluminum.

Heh its funny because the whole reason I've been on this cab/amp kick as of late is to save space. I can't imagine how much the thing weighs being an 18... I had a 2x10 + 1x18 that weighed a TON

Don't do it, it's too heavy, you will never be able to carry it. You will hurt yourself and those you love! (I actually feel like being told not to would make me want to buy it more)


2 Things I need to be talked out of
Really want to unload my Original Pog for an Organizer, I know they aren't at all the same thing, but I am always trying to get organ sounds with my pog.
Pog can do organ sounds (I have a rotovibe behind it) Organizer can't do pog sounds??????? Stop me!!!


Also: My wife is currently trying to talk me out of unloading my 95 Chevy G Conversion Van for a 99 for taurus wagon, I can't keep doing 100dollar fillups when I never carry more than 3 people HELP!!!

Yeah, I can't imagine with Emperors build quality how much that stinker weighs. It'd be awesome to biamp again, but I could use the space hahaha

And I've been curious of the Organizer, and had a POG. I felt like the POG was TOO organ-like, so that works in your favor a bit. I liked that you could control the pass of the filter on the POG a lot. Those are just my two sense.

Also about the van, that actually sounds like a good idea................................................ But a happy wife is even better

so far, but the pog is still up for sale, although I did some jamming and I still love it

I have

1x Rat Clone
1x Rat Tail
1x Megalith
1x TGD (on its way I hope)

and I have been kicking around the idea of selling everything but the clone and getting a Caprid or VSS Twosome. I also sent John Lyons a pm about a custom fuzz that I am not firm on yet.

Almost though about selling the POG2 I got two weeks ago.
