Yeah, I think 3 seems best for me too. Sometimes it can be anywhere from 2-5. I usually have to be wanting some kinda crazy sound to be using any more than 5.

Scrambler needed that to make it complete, I think every ugly octave fuzz should have a warning on it.

I feel like a bitch, but like...one. Two tops. Three of its the end if that song and I stepped on the tuner.

Two or three average. Between one to five though realistically. A dirt, maybe another dirt, maybe boost, a modulation or delay, or both, reverb. Some combination of those.

I do have a song with an outro where all I do is leave on an oscillating fuzz and turn on/off other pedals and fuck with the guitar's volume knob in rhythm with the song. No actual playing but it drives that whole part of the song.

At any given time? One. More than often up to four, when playing the bass but if I'm doing pedalcore, it's not stopping there.

Pretty much always just one at a time these days...sometimes adding a wah to that one.
Maybe partying will help.

Never less than one, rarely more 3. Always something to push the input of my amp, and I usually have some nice thick reverb mixed in as well. Sometimes I kick on the Malekko Vibrato to shake things up. When I'm feeling crazy, I use a compressor, the POG2 and the Malekko to simulate a Mellotron.

I usually keep a reverb on at all times and mess with the depth with my foot. About half of the time, I use my amp's overdrive, but not much. And about half the time, I use some type of mod. And then some others here or there. No more than four unless I'm having fun
