Yeah, it's a TC Delay. Delay is a necessity for me. But there's nothing I was doing with the Carbon Copy that couldn't be imitated by the Nova Repeater (besides oscillation but that's hardly necessary).

:erm: "room" :?:

:p

Serious question though,...how are you all attaching those FS-5s to your boards. I can't get velcro to stay put on my FS-6 for shit.

Two strips of velcro seems to be holding mine down pretty well. :idk:

Try some 3M dual-lock. If the bottom of a pedal(s) isn't flat, I usually cut some strips of 1/8th or 1/4 inch foam tape to cover the bottom.

I'll attach the dual-lock directly to the foam tape, then press it down. It never moves unless I pry it up with a screwdriver.

The key question around here is oscillation. :ilf: No, really. This has been witnessed more than once.

Whenever Tom - or anybody else - presents a new product, the first question is HOW it oscillates, and if it doesn't... well, then the first custom order is a deluxe version that oscillates.

I really dig that delay and at that price it is seriously underrated.

 I just asked a guy if a ff clone oscillates in bst. it's a major concern.

Have you played the Repeater and Delay back to back? Curious, since I want to get one of them.

Yeah, the Carbon Copy has a super-dark repeat sound that kind of makes it cool for long, low in the mix delays. Also good for lead echo. But the Repeater can cover those grounds as wel. The TC is actually pretty good for slap back (and synced-to-tempo delays of course). It's got a decent reverse function as well. Pretty much the only thing it can't do is self-oscillation.

(Unless you meant the Nova Repeater and the Nova Delay. In which case the question is whether you think presets and a display that shows the time in milliseconds is worth the extra $100)

...put it in a feedback looper?
It's very important to know how it oscillates.
