That all sounds fantastic! The Pocket Arcade seems quite awesome too.

How do you like the Empress Superdelay?

Thanks Muse!
Pocket Arcade is a monster for it's size... awesome sound from this little beast... it stack well.
Empress Superdelay... it's a big part of my sound especially that revers twice the speed delay. My only complaints about this pedal is the looper (too short), I wouldn't trade or sell this for a Strymon.

That's quite a statement! It's always great when we find a piece of gear which works for us. Is yours the Original or the VMSD?

Mine is the Superdelay, not the Vintage Modified superdelay.
It's the grey one... I got it directly from Empress (one of the Scratch & Dents).

Love that finish. Now I'm curious: what's the max time on the looper?

http://www.empresseffects.com/manuals/superdelay.pdf

Mode A:
Normal looper
mode. 6.8 seconds
of loop time.

Mode B:
Long looper mode.
13.6 seconds of loop
time.

Mode C:
Loop is played back in
reverse. Audio layered
after initial loop begins
playback is played back
forwards.

If the pedal interest you, look their website on the Scratch & Dents section sometimes they have greate price there.
Mine doesn't look scratch or dents at all. There just like a letter missing on one lable.

Timeline has more features... but the Superdelay have everything I need. The only thing I would add to this pedal is an FX loop or a bit crushing mode on the repeats.

Thanks for the info. I'll be sure to check this one out!

Back on topic: the Frazz continues to impress me in every demo I hear.

Really fun demo, Syl, I love how you zip through all those cool pedals and sounds! I especially dig the use of expression for the wash of fuzz, that's loverly. Thanks buddy!

Thanks for building such a cool pedal Ryan!

It stack well with almost everything I tried.
And the CV function is a must.
There is a lot of low ends... this is a monster. :animal:

I liked how it sounds with those other pedals too and that must have taken you a long time to set all them up and shoot them, thank you again.

Just to clarify though, the Frazz can't handle CV, the expression control is just for passive variable resistance, not voltage.

Why does sylnau seem to like Canadian built pedals the best?

(Not to accuse anyone of favoritism or anything, you Canucks sure do make some fine pedals. That Frazz is pretty dazzlin'.)

Canadians are only allowed to use Canadian products, our government is very strict. Our houses are inspected daily for Made In Canada stickers, they gotta be on everything. Or else it's off to the tar sands... never to be seen again.
