Will you mod it or leave it the way it is?

One time I bought an El Cap for $240, which is the cheapest I've ever seen one
But I don't have it anymore.

Guitar center's used site has some sweet deals every now and then

forgive me, but what is it actually worth? I've never been a fan of the DS-1 and I've always thought they went for pretty cheap no matter what

I recently scored my Dr. Sci SDD for $190.
I thought it was a pretty sweet deal.

Golly. Buying them new here in Australia, $350 is considered cheap, they're typically around $400.
And because stockists rarely have any, they usually aren't willing to budge on price. I got mine for $350 and am super happy with it anyway.

My best deals were a Maxon AD999 for $170 (still have it), and a Durham Crazy Horse for $110ish (which is what I sold it to another member on this forum for, plus postage, as I already had a clone commissioned).
Good deals with: PumpkinPieces, maz91379, allicio, nelsinian, tomlane95, casperh7, insubordination, bronzetalon

I scored my Yamaha SBV-500 for $200. It came in a gig bag that costs $400+ new. I probably won't get a deal like that ever again.
My SGV-300 was also $200. I swear Guitar Center has no clue how to price them, so it's just set low 'cause they look weird.

Last week I picked up a Victoria Amps 2 x 12" cabinet for $50, and a 1984 TS-9 Tube Screamer for $75. Sold the TS-9, kept the cabinet. Same guy (who was moving) GAVE me a Lexicon MPX 1, Line 6 POD, half a dozen stands, Peavey Rage amp and about 200 cables. I sold the MPX 1, picked out the cables I could use (including a 10' run of MIT Music Hose speaker cable) and donated the rest to this awesome youth group:

From the same guy I bought a Yamaha Recording Custom snare drum for $50, which I sold for $550.
Last year I bought a blue strip Urei 1176 for $1000, which I sold for $4000. Bought an engagement ring with most of the profit.
I've had a lot of good deals over the years...I didn't have a job all through college I just flipped gear.
