Hmmmm, I guess I'll try to return it then. Thanks for the help everyone.

Oh crap.

I just discovered pitch-shifted/octave-up reverb and immediately thought of at least half a dozen songs I could use it in. This Line 6 Verbzilla / Empress Superdelay / Strymon BlueSky shootout is insightful and I hate myself.

One of these to compliment my RRR and many delay pedals would make my heart sing.

And this one, from about 0:45 onwards.. that is like.. me please. Song-in-a-fucking-pedal.

Damn it.

I know that feel. The BSR consistently sounds awesome. Perhaps I should just get an El Cap+BSR setup...

I am seriously considering it, I already have an El Cap and it is my favourite delay (although I do love them all). I don't want to be all TGP up ins, but sometimes, damn.

I'm watching a clip with a Gnomeratron VTF running into the Bluesky and of course it takes fuzz like a fucking champ.

I feel sick.

Not as bad as my current GAS: that Strymon Lex looks really awesome now!

I'm usually not a Rotary guy but this sounds fantastic. Some phasing tones, and the Slow/Fast switch is great.

I think I should go with Lex -> El Cap -> RRR.

Edit: That Freeze seems cool too...fuck.

Very nice video! I hadn't checked the Lex out.

I really like the Freeze, but it's a "one day" pedal for me (although I would get someone to do that popular soft-touch switch mod). At the moment everything I'm doing gear-wise is for my upcoming recording. Hence holding off on any phasers or flangers as well.

I loved the Line 6 octo mode but the pedal itself had a shit buffer and couldn't take dirt without clipping. I've got an RV-5 which I really enjoy for the modulated delay, it gets nice and pronounced as well. Currently using it for bass though... so I might just have to get another

I watched that video before I decided to get a Verbzilla

Well, maybe it had an issue? I run mine with dirt up front all the time (2nd Voice into Verbzilla  ) and it works like a charm... :idk:

The 2nd Voice is first in my chain, and works flawlessly (I've had two 2nd Voices so far, a V1 without exp and the current one V2 with exp, both worked without issues). The only time I got noise was when my Power supply broke. Because if your Power Supply is shit, the 2nd Voice sounds like shit too.

Just ordered some new plastic tortoise pickup rings for my Kramer. Stupid that it was $50 for a pair of plastic rings, not stupid that they will last forever and I'll actually have something to rest my thumb on
